Robert Craig Winery

Robert Craig founded his eponymous winery in 1992 after a decade of leadership at Hess Collection that sparked his fascination for mountain Cabernet. Bob helped create the Spring Mountain and Mount Veeder AVA’s, and he built his winery at the top of Howell Mountain in 2002. Elton Slone joined the winery’s owner circle in 2005 and honors Bob Craig’s legacy by producing classically structured, high elevation, single-site wines from their estate vineyards on Howell Mountain and Mount Veeder as well as Spring Mountain and “Affinity" Cabernets. RCW production is small and farmed organically.
